This 1953 Gibson Gibsonette GA-8 is in very good vintage condition. This amp shows signs of use and age throughout but is overall very clean and nice! The original faux leather luggage style covering on this amp is in fantastic condition and is free of any tears or snags and the original leather handle is in intact and feels sturdy. This Gibsonette is all original throughout. The transformer dates to the 25th week of 1953 and the original Jensen speaker dates to the 13th week of 1953. This amp has just been expertly serviced by Rose Electric Audio in Nashville ,Tennessee. It was fully cleaned, a few leaky capacitors were replaced and a three prong power cable has been added for safe operation. This amp is now in perfect operating order, needs nothing and sounds fantastic! If you are looking for a killer little 8-10 watt grab and go vintage tube amp for home or studio, this little Gibsonette checks all the boxes!
