This Fender JB-45 is an awesome Jazz Bass in fantastic condition. A high-quality, MIJ build ca. 2002-2004 the bass has a straight neck and the electronics are functioning as they should. Excellent tone with Very nice, quick n' cozy action. 'Wesley' ramp has been professionally and skillfully installed between the pickups for optimized finger comfort, speed and precision. I'd heard about this but never tried it until now and let me tell ya--it's like a cheat code for the right hand. I dig.
Cosmetically the bass is in great condition. Nicks, dings, scratches, scuffs and patina where expected but overall quite clean. Super handsome in Lake Placid Blue and the wood choice for the ramp matches fret board very well. Included is a nice gig bag.
Free local pick up from PTD Vintage in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood available and encouraged. Shipping is a flat $125 in the lower 48.
