Product Details: All original 1984 White Face ProCo RAT

This is a rare model with a reversed black and white logo, exclusive to the transitional period from 1984 to 1985, when the large case was replaced by a small case!
The original was "The Rat," released in 1978, with a slightly larger case, and this unit features the same circuit board pattern as the large case version. Around 1987, a new circuit board pattern was introduced, and parts were also changed accordingly. This unit's op amp is the National Semiconductor LM308N. While its distortion sound is characteristic of the Rat, with its fat, fuzzy distortion, this unit boasts even richer low-mids and lustrous highs, with an exquisitely firm attack! This is a rare model that has become rare in recent years.
*There is some damage to the plastic battery snap, but the unit is still in normal usable condition, so I have left it as is.
*Rubber feet replaced
