Baldwin Upright Piano, c. 1935 — Private Instrument of Louis Armstrong’s Pianist

This Baldwin upright piano appears to date to around 1939 and belonged to my late father, who played piano for Louis Armstrong. This was one of his private home instruments.

It has been kept in a private home for decades and is in surprisingly strong cosmetic condition for its age, with minimal wear considering how old it is. This is a serious vintage instrument with real provenance, not just an old upright being pushed out the door.

I am clearing out an estate on a timeline, so I am motivated to move it, but I am not treating it like junk. Serious inquiries only, and happy to provide additional photos and details for buyers who understand what they’re looking at.
