Yamaha SG-2000, 1980 Made in Japan one of the flagship guitars by the Yamaha Music Corp. This Tobacco sunburst model, was made in Japan in 1980 and sports a Mahogy body with maple cap and laminated thru body neck. Ebony fretboard, with split wing markers, frets ok, plenty of life remaining. Ample binding and quite clean brass hardware, including the Sustaining block under the bridge. Swinging in at about 4.3 kgs it’s not for the fainthearted but it has a clear, and distinctive tone from the original alnico V pickups. Guitar is in good condition and gene clean. Comes with period case
