In very good condition. This guitar was very well preserved.
- Original Stackpole pots and capacitors, I believe the rest of the electronics are likely original as well. Stackpole pots are dated for 1956 making this likely an early to mid-1957 model.
- Period correct ultra rare Pat. Pending Grover tuners that are in excellent condition.
- Non-original Gibson style bell knobs, toggle switch and tremolo.
- Light checking/finish crack in the cut away.
- Includes hardshell Warwick Casket Case.
This guitar is very comfortable to play. Has medium-ish action and a little bit of room left to lower the bridge. These guitars do not have an adjustable truss rod.
Body Material: Most 1957 models featured a solid wood body (often basswood or maple).
Finish: Cherry Sunburst
Pickups: It features two Valco "V-Tone" Single Coils in a humbucker housing.
The Neck: Typically a chunky "C" profile with a rosewood fretboard and classic block inlays. The frets have very minimal ware.
Weight: This guitar came in at 7lbs. 9oz. on our Royal scale.
