Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.
You are looking at a great sounding 1990's era Sennheiser E815S model dynamic cardioid microphone that has a strong 100% output and set at Low impedance making this a very good choice for singing and broadcasting purposes as it was designed. It comes with it's original mic clip and just needs any standard XLR cable to operate.
I don't have much experience with these Sennheiser mics but I can tell you the sound is quite nice. It has a warm, smooth sound. Very similar to the Shure SM-58 model. This is a quality mic for sure and there's a bit of weight to her as well. It's built like a tank with an all metal body and painted ash grey color scheme. No cheap plastic. Again...I know very little of these mics but the frequency response is from 80 - 12,000 Hz and 350 OHMS.
As you can see there is typical wear on the painted finish of this mic in the form of scuffs, scratches and some small chips in the paint but it's free of any dents or fractures and looks pretty good overall. The front screen is metal and free of any dents. The inner foam screen is very nice as well. The on / off switch works perfectly.
The mic comes with a Sennheiser mic clip that fits the mic perfectly. There's adjustable tension in the pivot and this will screw onto any American desk or floor stand.
Overall I would rate this mic a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10 in the cosmetic department.
