1962 Fender Precision Bass in very good condition. It has an old Olympic White refinish (over Sunburst), and one-half of the pickup has been rewound - otherwise all original. Supplied in a reissue Fender/G&G brown case.

There is general light playwear, including some small scuffs and dings to the finish, particularly around the edges of the body. There are a couple of patches of finish worn through around the edges of the body. The back of the neck and headstock are very clean, with little in the way of wear. The truss rod functions correctly, the neck is straight, and the original frets are in great condition.

This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of La Bella Olinto flat-wound strings. The date on the end of the neck is NOV 62. The pickups have black bobbins. Both pots date to the 37th week of '62. Serial number: 71236. Weight: 8 lbs 14 oz / 4.03 kg. Nut width: 44.3 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm. Pickup impedance 11.3k.
