Epiphone Riviera dating from the early 1970s, just after production ceased in the United States. Made by Matsumoku, it boasts exceptional quality, far superior to the guitars produced a few years later.
Instruments from this period are highly sought after, and rightly so. The craftsmanship is top-notch, with specifications very close to those of American models.
This particular guitar features a transparent walnut finish, revealing a beautiful grain. The neck has a wider, more comfortable nut, similar to a 335. The binding covers the medium jumbo frets, block inlays, original humbucker pickups (likely Maxon), and the bridge and tuners specific to the Blue Label model.
It has been through a complete setup in our workshop, has been checked, is very comfortable to play, and sounds fantastic! Video available!
