Very cool example of a 1940s New York-made Zenith that has certainly lived a life. It was quite literally found in a barn and came to us coated in a layer of mildew with a few cracks, shrunken inlays and a host of scratches and dings. While it may have been forgotten for a while, it's evident that at one point this was a well-loved instrument.
After an extensive cleaning, it has emerged from as one of the most characterful archtop acoustics we've had in the shop, with a heavy dose that of antique guitar smell we all love so much.
The original bridge was a little tall in its current state, but removing material from it would have compromised the matching serial number stamped into the bottom of it. We decided to fit it with an old replacement bridge, the original will be shipped in the case.
Comes in a non-original hardshell case. Feel free to reach out with any questions about this awesome archtop!
