Near Mint condition Gretsch Power Jet Firebird from 2005/2006. This is a first year model with an inspection tag dated early 2006 but it has a 2005 serial number. It includes the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and all "case candy" as shown. I am the original owner.
Stock pickups on the Gretsch Power Jet guitars are TV Jones Powertrons, a slightly more powerful Filtertron-style pickup that still cops "that great Gretsch sound". It has an ebony fretboard and mahogany body and neck.
Although Reverb lists the guitar under the solid body category, it is chambered and very lightweight. It weighs 6 lbs, 11.2 ounces. The nut width is 1.68" and the comfy C-shaped neck measures .83" at the 1st fret and .95" at the 12th fret. I installed a treble bleed circuit on the master volume using the TV Jones-recommended values per their website.
This guitar has just had the frets polished and been set up by luthier Matt Artinger to put it in top shape to sell. The bottom strap-lock button has slightly corroded but there is no other damage, it must have reacted with the case at some point. See the picture.
This item is sold as is, please review all the photos and ask any questions. I will ship free to the lower 48 USA; local pickup is also offered.
