Up for sale is a killer 1971 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop with tons of vintage vibe and honest player-grade appeal.

This is a true early 70s Deluxe featuring the desirable mini humbuckers and all the tone you’d expect—tight low end, punchy mids, and that unmistakable vintage Gibson clarity that sits perfectly in a mix. It also features the early 70s smaller volute, a nice transitional detail that many players prefer for both feel and aesthetics.

The guitar has had a top only refin, giving it a clean, refreshed Goldtop look while still retaining plenty of vintage character throughout the rest of the instrument. It’s a great option for someone looking to get into a real vintage Les Paul without paying full collector pricing.

Importantly, this guitar has no breaks or repairs, which is always a huge plus on a vintage Gibson.

A set of Grover tuners has been installed, offering improved tuning stability and reliability. As shown in the photos, there are visible signs of the original tuner footprint on the back of the headstock.

The jack plate has been upgraded to a gold-plated unit, and the original jack plate is included with the sale. Original Pickguard is also included w/ original mounting hardware (last picture)

Electronics appear original, with visible vintage components and wiring. The mini humbuckers are patent-stamped and deliver that classic Deluxe tone. Hardware shows natural aging and patina consistent with its age.
