The Deering Boston B6 is a professional-grade, American-made 6-string banjo designed for guitarists. Unlike cheaper 6-string banjos, the Boston series uses a unique 3/16" rolled steel rim which provides a crisp, "bell-like" tone and incredible projection without the heavy weight of a traditional brass tone ring.
- Neck: Tropical American Mahogany with a slender, comfortable "D" shape.
- Fingerboard: Radiused Ebony with 22 nickel-silver frets and maple/pearloid dot inlays.
- Pot Assembly: 11" frosted top head, 24-piece "Butterfly" flange, and a nickel-plated steel rim.
- Hardware: Genuine Deering 6-string tailpiece and high-ratio sealed guitar-style tuners for stable tuning.
- Resonator: Mahogany with white binding and a clean satin finish.
- Case: Includes the original Deering deluxe hardshell case with green plush interior.
