The SA-126 guitar represents a unique blend of semi-hollow and solid body designs, featuring a chambered/center block solid body and a bolt-on neck. Developed by industry expert and musician, Wolfgang Van Halen, this instrument boasts a slim neck, jumbo frets, and high output pickups for exceptional performance. Ideal for both powerful rhythm tones and speedy lead solos, the SA-126 exemplifies innovation and versatility in its design. The EVH SA-126 Special QM Electric Guitar boasts a chambered Mahogany body and basswood Centerblock for enhanced stability and tonal quality. Its Maple top, available in solid or quilted finishes, is elegantly complemented by a 5-ply body binding. The 22-fret Ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays rests on a reinforced Mahogany neck with a 24 and three quarter inch scale length. This modern-classic instrument offers a comfortable and familiar feel. Plus, the spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the neck's end allows for easy, on-the-go adjustments.

The SA-126 Special comes in 4 finishes. Tobacco Sunburst w/ Gold Hardware, Transparent Purple w/ Chrome Hardware, and Matte Army Drab as well as Stealth Black w/ Black hardware. Finally, this also comes with the SA126 Hardshell case that is wrapped in Ivory vinyl and has blue crushed velvet interior.
