Inspired by the success of Eric Clapton's appearance on MTV Unplugged, Martin worked with Clapton to develop this model based off of his favored 000 instruments. The model combines the best of pre-war construction with modern playability; featuring Sitka spruce top with scalloped braces, beautiful Indian rosewood back and side, mahogany modified V-shape neck, and herringbone trim. This 2007 example is in excellent original condition with brilliant tone whether strummed or finger picked. One of the finest models to come out of Nazareth in recent years. All the charm of a pre-war guitar for a fraction of the price.
