1982 Fender Dan Smith Stratocaster – 100% Original – Very Good Condition
For your consideration is this 1982 Fender Dan Smith Stratocaster in very good condition. These early ’80s Dan Smith Strats have become increasingly sought after, and for good reason—they offer a unique chapter in Fender history with classic looks, great feel, and unmistakable Strat tone.
This example is 100% original and has held up especially well over the years. One thing collectors often note with these is the tendency for the gold hardware to fade or turn green with age, but this one has retained its appearance very nicely compared to many others out there.
Condition-wise, it shows honest vintage wear with a few nicks around the 14th–15th fret area, but overall it presents very well. The frets show no wear, which is always a huge plus on a guitar of this age.
A clean, original Dan Smith Strat that looks great, plays well, and is becoming harder to find in this kind of shape.
Comes with the original case as shown. (281)

Condition, Shipping, & Setup Details:
I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
