This is part of the Ibanez “9 Series”, made by Maxon — the same lineage as the legendary Tube Screamer.
A true 1982 vintage unit
- Physical Features: Features a pastel lilac/purple finish and a rugged metal housing.
- Labels: units have a silver "Made in Japan" label on the base and a original battery compartment cover.
- Controls: Two simple knobs: Speed (modulation rate) and Width (intensity/depth).
- Outputs: Includes standard mono input and dual stereo outputs. The stereo outputs produce a wide, dreamy sound by inverting the phase on one side.
- Internal Circuitry: Built with original analog circuitry, using BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) chips.
