This bass has been modded. The active electronics were removed and replaced with a passive Emerson custom pre-wired kit, which means the output jack is now on the front pickguard instead of the bottom/side of the body.. The neck pickup (split coil) has been upgraded to the Fender Pure Vintage '63 pickup. The bridge pickup is the original noiseless J-style which came with the bass.
The bass has plenty of cosmetic dings from life on the road, but has been recently restring and setup and continues to play like a dream and sound amazing.
