Framus Billy Lorento Archtop from the 1950s in Very Good Condition.

Exc playing and sounding archtop from Germany with stellar single coil Pickups built in to a Framus branded chromed pickguard.

This guitar has some play wear but is still a very great player. Check out the photos for the wear on the frets of the top few strings. There is wear on the first 4 or so frets. There is also some thumb wear on the back of the neck where the black finish has rubbed off. Also,The neck joint at the headstock on the back has slightly protruded.(1/32nd of an inch or Less) This guitar has been like this ever since i got it with no issues. Plays Great!

The killer feature of this guitar is the neck. It is approx the same width up the whole neck. SO a dream to play. Really does make a big difference - not sure why more guitar buildrs haven't done this. Makes it look super slim but is a thick U profile that is exc and comfy.

The tone and volume pots are in a metal enclosed case attached to the pickguard. The output jack in this case requires a slighly smaller tip than a normal 1/4 " jack. I've included a jack end made with a slighly sanded tip on a cable in the case with the guitar.

Truly a great Jazz box made for a professional player endorsed by Billy Lorento aka Bill Lawrence. ( Yes that Bill Lawrence of PU designer fame)The solid woods and attention to a high level of craftsmanship make this flagship instrument by Framus a real joy to play and create on . Check out the video for the real deal.

This guitar comes with a newer hard shell case.
