Harmony H425 Batwing Mandolin W/Original Chipboard Case 1972? Vintage Harmony H 425 Mandolin Made In The USA

For your consideration today is a very cool Harmony H425 Mandolin. Often referred to as the "Batwing" mandolin, these were made in the 60's and 70's. Has serial number S-72ML so I am guessing it is from 1972. The other numbers on the inside are 2994 H425. These were Made In The USA!! This one does have it's share of bumps and bruises. The nut has shifted (see photo) and probably needs to be realigned. There is a repaired crack on the back from one of the neck screws (see photo). There is some glue residue on the top waist (see photo) and the frets could use cleaning. Definitely needs strings although it plays the way it sits. I would consider adding an adjustable bridge but I will let the new owner make that decision. Comes with the original form fitting chipboard case that is in GREAT shape. Don't be fooled by any glare spots, this one still has A LOT shine to it and not very much wear. This one is in nice shape for it's age but is far from perfect. Comes with the original chipboard case so she will arrive safe and sound.  Don't waste your money on the stock market. Instead of a piece of paper, get yourself a cool vintage mandolin on the cheap. If you are looking for one of these from a trusted seller, look no further.
