This 1999 Martin D-28 sounds great and is in nice playing shape. Some expected dings and light scratch marks from years of playing, but no major marks or cracks. “C” profile Mahogany neck, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a Sitka Spruce top.
The Rosewood peghead overlay features the “CF Martin & Co. EST. 1833” at the top. Bone nut. Nickel tuners. The Rosewood fingerboard has graduated pearloid dot inlays. The “C” profile Mahogany neck is in great shape. Nickel strap button installed. White heelcap.
The Sitka Spruce top has a fair amount of small dings and scratches, but it does not have any cracks or previous crack repairs. Rosewood bridge has upgraded pins and a bone saddle. The bindings show white binding on the outside with 5 lines of black and white alternating purfling. Black plastic pickguard. The Indian Rosewood also has usual small dings and scratches but it does not have any cracks or crack repairs.
This 1999 martin D-28 has been played enough to really open up into a nice full sound. Comes with the original hard case.
