VINTAGE; this was my personal guitar for over 20 yrs
The original pickups finally gave out and had to be replaced
this is a player guitar and is in very good condition.
In the '70s, Ibanez built affordable imitations of iconic guitars in Japan for import to the American market.
This lasted until Norlin (Gibson's parent company) sued Ibanez in 1977. Collectively, these guitars and
basses are refereed to as Lawsuit or Lawsuit-era Ibanezes on the used market.
The 2368 is a semi-solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was made in Nagoya, Japan. It is visually similar to Fender's Telecaster thinline model.
The 2368 features a Fender telecaster thinline style semi-solid body design with a laminated mahogany top with one ƒ hole on mahogany back and sides bolted to a slender profile maple neck with 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock, a top loading "Ashtray" bridge with adjustable saddles, a fancy white pearloid pickguard, a bone nut and chrome individual tuning machines.
The Pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan
