Introducing this 1964 Gibson ES-335 TD Sunburst, an original example that embodies all the elegance and character of Gibson semi-hollows of the era. Purchased from Black Magic, this guitar stands out for its classic construction with a laminated poplar and maple body. The mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard has been re-fretted over the years, preserving its full playability without compromising its vintage charm. Sonically, the pickup combination is particularly interesting: the neck features an original PAF pickup, rich, dynamic, and incredibly expressive, while the bridge features a patent number pickup that maintains period-correct tonal character and adds attack and definition. The hardware remains largely original, with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar, while the saddles have been replaced with the original nylon ones, which are included. The pickguard is original, as are the tuners: Grover tuners had been installed during the instrument's life, but the original tuners were later restored, restoring the guitar to its original configuration. This ES-335 combines authenticity, history, and playability, an instrument capable of still offering all the charm and unmistakable voice of the great Gibsons of the 1960s.
