Personal Thoughts:
These 2011 Custom Shop Les Paul Special DCs are great guitars and, in my opinion, one of the nicest ways into the old double cut Gibson feel without going all the way into fragile vintage territory. The spec is simple, but that is exactly why they work. A mahogany body and neck, rosewood board, wraparound bridge and twin P-90s is such a direct, lively combination, and the 60s Slim Taper neck tends to make them feel quicker and a bit easier in the hand than some of the chunkier Gibson reissues. TV Yellow always suits this model too, because it just looks right on a Special. The added humbucker covers are worth mentioning, as they give it a slightly more dressed look than the usual exposed soapbar appearance. The underlying period-correct platform for the 2011 model is well documented as a Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut reissue in TV Yellow with mahogany construction, rosewood board, wraparound bridge and P-90s.

Condition Report:
Very good condition. There are some impressions and very light scratches from use, but overall it remains a well looked after example for the year.
