Iris Guitars OG 2021 - Old Growth Woods(1 3/4" nut)

Wood upgrades!! This guitar features an upgraded 65+ year old figured Sitka spruce top paired with a gorgeous set of Flamed Honduran Mahogany for the back and sides, which gives it a beautiful, resonant, dry woody tone. It is powerful, with a nice low-end growl and balanced high-end that’s super expressive and dynamic. The guitar has opened up beautifully. Lots of sustain and overtones from that old stock aged top wood. It is featherlight. It comes with a TKL hardshell case.

The OG model replicates the Gibson LG-2, but is a tiny bit larger and much more versatile.

The guitar is in great shape with a few small cosmetic dimples in the soundboard just below the bridge, and next to the bridge that don't go through the finish, hence the difficulty getting them to show up in photos. There is also a tiny spot of finish in the upper top binding, which you can see in the photos. Little cosmetic blems like this are pretty common on Iris's.
The tuners work well and feel smoother than other Iris’s I’ve played. The guitar has been sparingly played. It is always stored in a humidity controlled studio.
