Man this amp is great!! More amp than I need at this point.

4 distinct tones dispersed across 2 channels via select switches:

1. The clean is beautiful, on the darker side of glassy, would describe it as modern in that it's not overly jumpy, feels naturally compressed, juicy, sweet.

2. The crunch is really just the ideal crunch channel. Slightly scooped but not overly so, punchy as all hell, immaculately usable gain range.

3 & 4 are two of the most singing overdrive channels I've used--basically one of them has a generous bottom end and the other is tightened right up, pretty similar otherwise though. Crrrazyyy gain on tap.

The clean headroom and master volume make this really, really versatile. I would say that the amp does get into another gear when you have the power tubes cooking, but not in a way where you really miss it that much when you're playing quietly-- the character is basically the same, just gives you that "aww yeah" when you push it over the top.

This unit has never left my studio and is clean as a whistle. Great in the studio and would rip at rock gigs
