This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in early 1958 and retains the V neck profile typical of 1956 and 1957. The neck is dated January 1958 and retains the original finish and decal. The body has been refinished by Danocaster. Long ago the body was routed under the guard with a "swimming pool" style universal route - which was filled in and re-routed prior to the refin. Most of the parts have been changed but the tuners, neckplate, and jackplate are original. The pickups appear to be Duncan Antiquities. The plastic parts are high quality aged reproducton parts that look correct. The guitar weighs 7 pounds and 7 ounces. It has been refretted. This is a great playing and sounding instrument with a perfect V neck profile. It has been pro-setup in our store and comes with a non original hard case.
