Beautiful Acoustica Elite Series Type A flat top mandolin. Circa 2000s. Made in Leeds , England by Oakwood.

Oakwood instruments were hand crafted by Luthier Martyn Banks but stopped production in 2019. The Acoustica instruments are a more affordable range but still very high quality and great sounding. There is an Oakwood label inside the body above the Acoustica label.

A lovely mandolin in fair / good used condition with playing wear and age. The strings are used but reasonable at the time of listing and the action is low and playable but you may wish to tweek the set up to suit.

It features solid tonewood construction with simple Maple binding and rope style soundhole inlay.

There is wear and marks to the body in places and small indents and marks around the edges, the back of the neck has several scuffs scrapes and indents as pictured. There is a chip to the corner of the headstock 'ear' and other general marks throughout. It's a pre owned instrument.

It features decent open back strip tuners and a good quality bridge and tailpiece.

A really lovely sounding hand made Mandolin.

Comes with hard case as pictured which does have a little room around the edges. (not fitted).
