Tokai SS-36 Model, manufactured 1988 (I have another one listed here that is from 1979) . A Japan-vintage Strat-style instrument with a large headstock, bullet-type truss-rod nut and 3-point tilt neck.

A model that has been getting more expensive and popular for john Mayer, seems like he used to play this guitar early in his career, can be seen in a picture holding this guitar, apparently this model.

all original except the nut, i replaced it because the original was broken when i bought it, however i can send the original nut that could be glued and used again if needed.

but as for the neck, looks like it has not been played, considering the age of the guitar, is almost new, certainly never been refreted, but almost 70 or 80 per cent remaining, and the neck is straight with the truss rod with space both sides.

watch the video for more details and closer look.

will be sent in a cardboard -box well packed, filled with toilet paper roll, i found this way very good to protect the neck, the case is not included, if you wish i can send it out in there, but in a different amount of money, so can also bear but the shipping that will be more expensive on my end, thanks

please take in account that I accept return ONLY in the case the product is different from what is published, i expect the buyer to communicate smoothly and I am even willing to video call to show you the instrument so you can buy with confidence, so please make sure to know what are you buying, and do not hesitate to ask! i will answer with the best of my knowledge( sorry if i cant answer more technical question, i am not an expert).

there has been many cases in reverb where people buy out of an impulse of unreal expectations toward the instrument, and then regret buying and return the instrument, damaging the community trust, so please, lets communicate and make sure you know what are you buying, but rest asure all my instruments are in excellent conditions and are jus as published!
