Port orford cedar top, indian laurel back and sides, mahogany neck, milo fretboard.
With a 22" scale, this Octave mandolin is comfortable to play for guitar players (feels like capo 3) and mandolin players alike. The tone is balanced and full, with more bass than a teardrop-style instrument due to the larger resonant body shape. And it is more comfortable to hold in your lap!
