1954 is the year that revolutionized the history of the electric guitar with the introduction of the Stratocaster model. Every 10 years, on the occasion of the anniversary, Fender produces commemorative reissues, and this is the case with the Fender Custom Limited Edition 1954 Stratocaster Lush Closet Classic.
The instrument features a body made of selected ash for lightweight construction, paired with a quartersawn maple neck. The neck profile is a traditional '54 Soft "V," while the frets are Medium Vintage / 47095 with a compound radius of 7.25" to 9.5".
The electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Hand-Wound '54 Stratocaster Single Coils wired to a Vintage wiring scheme.
