three wah industry heavyweights analyzed over 20 original 2024 VRM1 units, we found specific areas that were needing upgrades for consistency, better tone and more modern features

I've taken my 25 years of expertise in pedal design and applied them to make this great pedal even greater.

features:

replacement of the Vox inductor with my Gagan Handwound Halo inductor using exact original type ferrites, down to the size and gauss specifications. wire size and resistance is also kept to original specs. This provides a warmer, juicier, more accurate vocal tone to the originals!

other critical circuit changes were made to CLOSELY TONE MATCH two separate actual 1967 Vox Clyde test units, both some of the best clydes I've ever heard. check the blind taste test video linked below.

to make the pedal more modern era friendly I've replaced the switch with true bypass and proper wiring with the grounding scheme to keep popping to a minimum. high quality power jack was added.

comes with original Vox bag, beautiful VRM style and all ephemera.
