This is a very clean, all original 1965 Epiphone Olympic Double in cherry finish. Includes original chipboard case. There are only a few dings as shown in the pictures. The two single coil Gibson PU380 'Melody Maker" pickups are strong and clear. The bridge pickup sounds bright and articulate with excellent bite. The neck pickup is big and warm. Both together sound similar to a middle position strat. The neck is straight and the wide frets show minimal wear. Overall, this is a great sounding and playing guitar.
The Epiphone Olympic Double, also known as Model SB722D, features an asymmetrical double cutaway mahogany body, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, batwing headstock with 6 in line Kluson Deluxe tuners, a 24.75" scale, individual volume and tone controls, a 3-way selector, and wrap around bridge.
