Steinberger GL4T 1989 - White

1989 Steinberger GL4T serial number and inside body markings put it as completed around mid-1989

This guitar has the Transtrem bridge which transposes and locks into different keys

The pickups are EMG 89 humbucker with a coil tap toggle for single coil, and 2 EMG SA single coil pickups. These are active pickups and the volume and tone pots are on an HAZ board but not the active board with the center notch tone. It also has the HAZ 3 button pickup selector

24 fret neck is clean and straight with the action low and no fret buzzing. Frets are clean with only minimal play wear.
other than the 2 holes on the front (probably a Roland mounted GK pickup) the lower bout has a hole drilled for an extra strap button for straighter guitar position when setting the guitar down (these mods were done by previous owner) and a couple light surface scratches on the back nothing deep.

The body and neck are very clean with no resin air pockets or any cracks.
The gigbag is clean like new with no wear in bag and zippers function perfectly.

Included with the guitar are 4 new sets of Dimarzio calibrated 10’s a used set that I keep as a backup, the Transtrem claw adjusted tool, Steinberger bridge adjustment hex tool, needed hex wrenches, String adapter for using regular strings, extra spring, extra set of Trem bearings with pins installed, extra rubber headpiece string retainer, and strap with strap locks

I’ve owned, gigged and been a Steinberger fan for decades and have owned dozens of Steinbergers all models. This one is my last one and probably one of the finest of all I’ve owned through the years.
