Vintage ARP 2600 (Model 2601) Semi-Modular Analog Synthesizer with Matching 3620 Duophonic Keyboard – Good Condition!
Up for sale is a classic late-production ARP 2600 (serial 26376) paired with its original matching ARP 3620 duophonic keyboard (serial R36376A). This is the desirable black panel 2601 V2.0 version purchased in 1978, featuring the 4072 filter and the iconic expressive duophonic keyboard with portamento, LFO, and aftertouch capabilities.
This legendary semi-modular analog synth delivers that raw, powerful ARP sound heard on countless records, film scores, and electronic music classics. With three oscillators, versatile filtering, envelope generators, noise, ring modulation, and extensive patching options, it's an incredibly creative instrument that rewards both quick preset-style playing and deep modular exploration.
Condition: The unit is in good working condition overall. It powers on cleanly and produces sounds. Given the length of time, the units do need to be serviced. Additionally, there are normal signs of age and use consistent with a 45+ year-old vintage instrument (cosmetic wear).
Includes:
- ARP 2600 main unit in original suitcase-style cabinet
- Matching 3620 duophonic keyboard
- Power cable (keyboard connects via the standard cable)
Local pickup preferred (near Boston, MA).
Serious inquiries only. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos or sound samples.
