This is really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1983 Applause by Ovation AA-31 Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Korean made Applause with Deep Bowl Back Lyrachord body and laminate Spruce Top. Looks like a Maple Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard. Plays and Sounds Great! Perfect guitar for Camping or Beach Campfires.
Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival!

Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. There is a lacquer crack that runs from the pickguard to the edge of the body. This is very common on Ovation and Applauses because of the Lyrachord plastic body and the Spruce wood top. When the temperature changes the Top will expand and contract but the Lyrachord body will not, thus causing cracks. The crack is cosmetic only. NOT Structural. There are also some cracks on the Top where the neck meets the body. Same story here. (See pictures #11, #12). Other than that, the guitar is in fine shape.
