The Frequency Central Continuum Phase Shifter is a Eurorack modular synthesizer module designed for deep, voltage-controlled phasing effects.  Unlike standard phasers, it functions similarly to a voltage-controlled filter (VCF), specifically an all-pass VCF, enabling complex modulation and sound sculpting.

The Continuum employs a topology of four swept OTA (Operational Transconductance Amplifier) all-pass filter stages, with an additional fixed all-pass filter stage on each side of the core.  This design allows for rich, resonant phasing effects. A key feature is the switch to select regeneration (regen) over odd or even stages—most phasers use only odd stages, but the Continuum unlocks unique sonic textures by enabling even-stage feedback.

The module includes two CV inputs, allowing simultaneous modulation from different sources such as LFOs, ADSRs, or sample-and-hold circuits.  This enables evolving, dynamic effects that go far beyond simple sweeps. Parameters like frequency and resonance are CV-controllable, making it ideal for experimental sound design.
