Cherry axe, dude.
Here is a Yako factory built cherry red Kay SG K2-T from the 1970s. Kay production for their 'lawsuit' guitars was moved from Japan to Taiwan in 1969 to the early 1980s. This one is likely early 1970s due to the dual black foil pickups which are Japanese. It's complete and original. Neck is straight and trussed. Frets could use some work. Tuners hold. The body is quite clean except a scar on the back (see pics). Trem system is complete and working. It's been cleaned up and tested. It will ship neck off for safety so I won't re-string it. A cool little classic that doesn't need much to become a player.
