Fender Mexico 50's Telecaster EXPORT BLK w/ EMG Pickups Mod 2001
Fender Mexico Telecasters are an attractive option for many guitarists. The reason for their high reputation is the excellent balance between price and quality. Compared to American-made Fenders, they are more affordable while still offering solid construction and sound quality, making them popular not only with beginners and intermediate players but also with professional musicians who specifically choose to use Mexican-made guitars. Presently, we have in stock a 2001 model that weighs 3.8kg.
While the wood material cannot be definitively determined, it is likely to be an ash body, fitted with a maple neck and a 21-fret fingerboard. As befits a 50s model, it has a single-ply pickguard.
The pickups have been changed, and it's now an active model equipped with EMG single-coil pickups. The controls remain the same: VOL/TONE and a 3-way selector. Telecasters with EMG pickups are quite rare, so if you've been looking for one, this one will give you a great active sound without any modifications. We think the quality of Fender Mexico guitars from the early 2000s is quite high, and there is little noise, so I would personally recommend this to anyone who doesn't already own an EMG guitar.
