This is a 1986 Gibson SG Standard.
Originally black/ebony paint, which was stripped from the body before my ownership.
Overall condition is good, showing honest play wear.
Action is low and guitar intonates well. Guitar plays and sounds great.
16th fret is slightly slotted at b string. Did not bother me enough to fix it.
You can see the holes where a pickguard (small guard) was fitted and removed, I think the holes may have been partially filled, all before my ownership.
Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan 59, from the period (not new).
Bridge pickup is the original Gibson, I don’t think it is a Tim Shaw, see photo.
Wiring harness looks to be original. See photo.
Includes the chainsaw case (only 1 latch remains so either use a buckle/belt in addition or source 2 latch replacements.
Guitar and case come from non smoking home.
Lots of photos of a very cool period correct player.
Includes two non original pick guards, each would have to be customized to fit or will need to source a new one.
Please ask any questions.
