Mahar's Vintage Guitars is proud to be an authorized Two-Rock dealer!
We don't stock a lot of brand new amplifiers, but when we carry Two-Rock, it's because they're simply doing something nobody else is. The Bloomfield Drive is their latest evolution of the two-channel cascading gain platform — firmly rooted in the Dumble tradition — and this particular example stopped us in our tracks before we even plugged it in. It's dressed in a stunning Ampeg-style blue diamond tolex with silver thread grille cloth and blue accent piping, and it is genuinely one of the sharpest-looking combos I've had in the shop in years. If you want to stand out on a stage without sacrificing a single ounce of tone, this is the amp.
Now let's talk about what it does, because the cosmetics are almost secondary to the circuit. The Bloomfield Drive runs four 6L6s at 100 watts with a switchable half-power mode dropping it to 50 — and crucially, Two-Rock's proprietary output transformer handles that wattage switch without any impedance mismatch or change in feel. That's not a small thing. Most amps with power scaling sound or feel different when you pull wattage back. This one doesn't. It's the same amp at 50 watts that it is at 100, just quieter.
The architecture is two channels with cascading gain stages, which means the lead channel is a genuine extension of the clean channel rather than a separate voice bolted on. The clean channel has the depth, bandwidth, and touch sensitivity that Two-Rock is known for — notes bloom and breathe in a way that rewards a player who actually varies their pick attack. Push into the lead channel and you get rich harmonics, added sustain, and a musical overdrive that never loses the fundamental. Engage the foot-switchable tone stack bypass on either channel and the amp opens up into a different dimension entirely — more gain, more immediacy, a hit of Vox-style bite that the normal channels don't hint at.
The all-tube spring reverb is one of the cleverest things about this amp. Two-Rock specifically engineered it to coexist with the overdrive channel without clouding the signal — so you can push the lead gain and the reverb simultaneously without losing note definition or touch sensitivity. The send and return controls let you dial it precisely for the room. For tone shaping, you get mini-toggle EQ switches for EQ1/EQ2, Bright, Mids, and Deep, plus a passive effects loop. The loaded speaker is Two-Rock's own TR1265B 12", which is voiced specifically for this platform.
This is an in-stock, ready-to-ship unit. We are an authorized Two-Rock dealer, which means full manufacturer warranty applies. Footswitch included. No sales tax for customers outside California.
