I am selling a solid koa GString soprano ukulele serial number 65054 that was hand-built in 2004 in the Halawa Valley of Hawaii.
Judging from what I see online, some GString koa instruments…especially the older ones that were built in Hawaii before Derek Shimizu moved the company to Nevada…were prone to developing cracks in the beautiful koa wood. This instrument is one.
As you can see in the photos, there are cracks in this beautiful ukulele, a few hairlines in the front, a couple in the back, and an obvious but stable crack in the front; however this GString koa soprano ukulele is quite playable as-is, the action is good, and it still has many years of joyous life left in it.
Please research this lovely GString koa soprano ukulele, study the photos carefully, consider the issues previously mentioned, and ask all questions before purchasing.
