Because it is good for almost any need, the C1000S is commonly described as a reliable "Swiss Army knife" tool for creators in schools, churches, and home studios.
This one works fine and sounds great but the windscreen grill has been damaged probably from being dropped at some time. The grill Is taped on now with a new filter inside and out. it shows it’s age and some wear but, it’s a good microphone. It requires either phantom power or a 9 volt battery.
