The top is hand-picked to closely match the original guitar, showcasing the beautiful grain and classic sunburst finish. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that the guitar not only looks like Beck’s original but also resonates with the same tonal qualities.

One of the distinctive features of Jeff Beck’s '59 Les Paul Standard is the double Classic White pickup bobbins on the Patent Applied For humbuckers. These have been faithfully recreated with unpotted Custombucker pickups, delivering the vintage tone and response that Beck’s guitar is known for. The single-ply black pickguard, another rare feature for a 1959 Les Paul Standard, adds to the guitar’s unique aesthetic, making it instantly recognizable.

The artisans at the Murphy Lab have aged the Jeff Beck “YardBurst” to replicate the wear and character of the original guitar as it appeared during Beck’s time with the Yardbirds. This careful aging process gives the instrument a vintage feel and look, as if it had traveled through decades of musical history. This limited-edition guitar is a collector’s dream. Only 130 of these exceptional instruments were handmade by the expert luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee.

This guitar was only briefly owned by its previous owner, which explains the minimal signs of use. Apart from a few light marks on the pickguard, it remains in excellent condition.
