Introducing the 40th Anniversary Custom 24-08 Semi-Hollow Limited Edition, a celebration of four decades of PRS Guitars.

While maintaining the core specs of the original Custom 24—the model that started it all in 1985—this limited edition enhances versatility with TCI pickups and EQ mini-toggle switches. The semi-hollow body, ziricote fretboard, and special inlay package make this a standout instrument.

The guitar features a "10-top" grade figured maple top, a mahogany body and neck, and a ziricote fretboard. This combination, along with PRS’s meticulous wood drying process, ensures stability and resonance. The semi-hollow construction adds a rich, organic depth to the tone, complemented by an elegant f-hole.

Equipped with American alnico TCI pickups, the Custom 24-08 offers a full, articulate sound that bridges single-coil and soapbar tones. The dual EQ mini-toggle switches act as tuned high-pass filters, enhancing clarity and emphasizing sparkling highs when engaged. First introduced on the Private Stock John McLaughlin model, these switches offer a new dimension of tonal flexibility.

Additional features include a 24-fret, 25” scale neck with "old school" bird inlays, a PRS Gen III patented tremolo for smooth pitch modulation, and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons for precise tuning stability.

This PRS was built in 2025 and shows virtually no signs of wear from its short time outside our store. It remains in near mint condition and comes with the original hardshell case.
