This is a *stellar* vintage microphone from Sony. It was released in 1989 and used by the BBC. It was eventually discontinued in 2007. This originally sold for $1,700 when it first came out. This is a mid-side stereo microphone with a variable stereo width via an internal matrix. It also collapses to mono so you can use it that way if you prefer. It is phantom powered and has a five-pin connector that connects to a Y-cable that ends in two three-pin XLR connectors. This is a very lightweight yet sturdy microphone that sounds incredible. It comes with the original breakout cable (connectors are rusted a bit yet work perfectly). Also included are two windscreens, the original clip, and a super heavy duty waterproof case. The paint is a little bit chipped in places, and the cage is a little bit dented. I ship fast (and free of charge). Check out the YouTube video for a sample recording.
