Originally, this guitar features controls that change via slots in the body back cavity, but it has been modified to have standard controls.

This instrument has been modified to have controls similar to a standard Stratocaster, achieving intuitive operation. It also boasts the high playability characteristic of the American Deluxe series, which has continuously evolved to reflect the demands of players. Locking tuners allow for smooth string changes, and the truss rod, adjustable from the headstock, accommodates both forward and reverse bowing. Medium jumbo frets and a two-point bridge provide smooth tremolo action and stable playability.

The N3 pickup retains the inherent brilliance of a single-coil pickup while maintaining low noise. Furthermore, a humbucking pickup is installed in the bridge position to cover a thicker, warmer sound. This is a practical specification that can handle a wide range of genres.
