Enhance your collection with this 7 pc. set of antique whistles. Wooden whistles like these were often used as sound effects by drummers accompanying silent movies or vaudeville acts. This set likely came from a small pipe organ or calliope and were found in a drummer's trap[case from the 1930s. Each whistle has a mouthpiece and two flutes. Lengths range from 6" to 20". The labeled notes from smallest to largest are E, E, C, B, G, E, C and some stops are moveable for a slight pitch change. This is a great set of whistles that look great on a trap table and provide a wide range of sound effect options.

HIGH QUALITY CONTROL: We have inspected and tested all structural, functional and acoustical aspects of these whistles according to our strict quality control standards: this includes checks for binding & friction, cracks, manufacturer's defects, loose joints, cosmetics and more. All of the whistles produce a clear woody tone. Some slides are stationery and two outflow collars have been professionally replaced. Overall condition is very good; cosmetic condition is excellent.
