The Demon V FX here is a rescue; I have owned it the past 25 years and it has been a pleasure to play. She has stood up to a relentless pounding; playing songs from "Rio Grande Mud", "Fandango", Rough and Ready", "Hotter Than Hell", "Metallica", and the entirety of the Great American Songbook. Right now has .10's and did try 12's but she loves 9-10 gauge strings. Speed neck very slim! Frets still strong. Last set up last by a professional guitar tech right here in SF, CA. Done when electronics were changed.

On-board effects have been JETTISONED! OH NO! The effects box was removed and the 9volt leads are gone. WHAT REPLACED THEM??? Top quality audio-taper pots(1 volume, 2 tone). The toggles are intact meaning you can wired them up if you want. This had active electronics and can still be re-wired with onboard effects or active electronics. The 9volt broke me; I would get uneven tones from different batteries; awful. Much cleaner now.

Rescued from a dumpster, the red marks are nail polish I used to prevent further chipping. There is one rough spot of wood damage under the tone pots. I can clean it up or follow your different instructions.
