The Secret Machine is DanDrive‘s take on the classic JHS Zonkmachine MKI. It’s based exclusively on germanium transistors, utilizing 3 carefully selected germanium transistors. Furthermore the Dandrive Secret Machine has two more unique tricks up it’s sleeve like the bias knob and the switch for mids. The classic Zonk Machine version is pretty harsh, bright and brittle, so DanDrive smoothed out the midrange frequencies to perfection, and now it is absolutely killer! If you prefer you sound brighter, just set the mini toggle to the down position, if you prefer for more mids set the toogle in the up position! This fuzz is really special even in the world of boutique fuzzes, it is a really nasty fuzz with great volume on tap. The DanDrive SECRET MACHINE has no clean up when dialing back your guitars volume, but it offers nice and bright octa up sounds - depending on your settings.
